Giggling Squid Brighton

The Giggling Squid has all the makings of a great restaurant – simple and fresh Thai food, combined with an inviting and vibrant atmosphere.

When you first walk in, it’s not hard to see why this place is so popular!

There are three floors to this restaurant, which features a variety of dining areas. It is not your typical spot for dinner!
At lunch, you’ll still find their signature Thai Tapas on the menu and at night you have regular dishes plus some unique flavours that may be new to you – perfect for a date or a night out by yourself. It’s an experience like no other.

Delish Thai Food

Think about how much you love Thai food and then think of the one thing they are always missing, a dish that is so spicy good it makes your eyes water.
Well, this restaurant has an answer to all our prayers! The lamb curry was out-of-this-world delicious with its chunky pieces of meat in a succulent sauce full of spices.
The portions are generous and there are cashews on top that add an extra crunch to complete this delicious meal.

We also ordered green curry. The sauce on top of it had just enough heat, but wasn’t too spicy for me to handle!
And the stir fry with mixed vegetables is even better than your usual Chinese or Thai food- not only does it taste good, but there’s no MSG in sight!
I don’t know what they put in their dish to make this happen, maybe some secret ingredient?

Also, the duck spring rolls were the best thing I’ve eaten in a long time, and it’s not even close. They tasted like nothing else! The pastry was light and flaky.
And then there was that sauce: its sweet flavour reminded me more of honey than anything else, but with an extra kick from all those spices mixed into it.

Lastly, we have the mixed vegetable stir fry which is delightful as well – simple yet flavorful!
Here’s another perfect example of how small ingredients go together beautifully without being overbearing one bit.

Extensive Thai Menu

There is something for everyone at Giggling Squid Brighton, and they offer all the basics. They have great food that is both fun to eat AND healthy with an extensive menu of options!
Their delicious cocktails and children’s menu are perfect if you’re with kids. Plus they also have vegetarian options as well as gluten-free dishes so everyone is catered for.
