Market Restaurant Bar

Get ready to be amazed, because once you walk into Market Restaurant it’s hard not to notice the Victorian green metro tiled walls.
Once inside, you’ll find more of those same bold colours and mesmerizing lights that will make your eyes feel like they’re in a dreamland!
The inside of Market Restaurant is like a time capsule from the 80s with its green metro tiled walls, bevelled mirrors and fluorescent lights.

The best seat is up at the high-top bar so don’t forget about this incredible view while watching chefs prepare delicious food!

Traditional Market Look

The Spanish-inspired design of the restaurant will make you feel as if you are in a market.
You’ll get to enjoy fresh, modern cuisine from the chef’s counter while getting entertained by chefs who have designed their food with care and attention that gives this space its traditional feel-though it is very much not old fashioned!

The restaurant is dominated by a long counter where diners can watch the chefs create their meals. This design also features an array of hanging cured hams as decoration.

Great for Sharing

The selection of food is designed to be shared among two people. From small plates (tapas) to mini-plates and smaller portions, the menu has something for everyone!

The selection of meats and cheeses is mouthwatering! From the hanging Jamons (hams) to a wide range available for all dietary requirements, it’s easy enough to leave here feeling satisfied.

Awesome Spanish Meal

The waiter brings out our two beautifully fried croquettes. They’re crispy on the outside and soft in-between, with a cheesy ham centre that’s bound to make your mouth water!
Next up is an appetizing plate of olives drizzled with pesto sauce – let me tell you these little green treats are surprisingly delicious!
And finally, we have one of my favourite plates ever: grilled lamb rib chips served alongside some tangy coleslaw which I will be dreaming about for days afterwards.

The broccoli with crispy kale, tahini and pumpkin seeds came out next. I love how the firmness of the broccoli complimented by smooth tahini paste makes for a delicious dish!
But, what makes this meal special are those crispy kale leaves that dissolve in your mouth without a trace of bitterness or a heavy texture.

Have you ever ordered mussels with chorizo and cheese? Of course, we all know that there is no cheese in it.
However, the sauce has us pleasantly baffled as it’s creamy and tangy from the delicious sausage making for a spectacular dish!
We recommend ordering skinny fries or truffle duck fat chips on the side – they come together to create one of our favourite dishes here.

Market’s Wine List

The Market has a wide selection of Spanish wines, which is perfect for pairing with their food.
There are also locally brewed beers as well to choose from! We’ve found the Padron My French cocktail and Chartreuse mixed into it surprisingly refreshing after tasting some local brews.

Every dish is a celebration of culture and ingenuity. The menu changes depending on the season to accommodate new items that are available in each region, so there’s always something fresh up your sleeve!
If you’re an adventurous eater then this place was made just for you. Every item on their eclectic menu reflects different travels around the world with dishes spanning all sorts of cultures.
