Manju’s Brighton

Walking into Manju’s is a bit like walking into the home of someone you just met and fallen in love with.
The smiling matriarch greets customers as they step inside her humble restaurant off Brighton Pier; it feels more like India than England somehow.
Chef Dipali cooks up some delicious vegetarian Indian dishes using only fresh ingredients, giving diners an experience that would be impossible to recreate back at their homes in Britain.

Manju’s Indian Restaurant is a gem in Brighton!
We have plenty of other great restaurants that serve Indian food, but Manju’s stands out because it tells the story through its dishes and lovable character who curates recipes rustled up by her daughter-in-law Chef Dipali.

A Family-Operated Business

Manju’s is like stepping into a blanket of warmth. The food here has been lovingly made by the lovely Manju who’s in her eighties and can still cook up Western Indian dishes to perfection time after time!
Dipali, born and raised in Gujarat herself, trained as a chef back home before going on to work for some of India’s best chefs.
She now cooks with love alongside old-timer Manju – it sounds pretty special if you ask me!

AWARD WINNING GUJARATI CUISINE
Changing Perceptions of Indian Food!

Manju’s reminds me that there are no substitutions: cooking well requires talent mixed with care from someone who knows what they’re doing.
It only gets better when those skills come from two people celebrating each other’s differences.

A Feast of Gujarati Cuisine

You’ve just got to try the Gujarati cuisine at Manju’s Brighton. This ancient culinary treasure is filled with tasty vegetarian street snacks and a great selection of thalis, dosas, curries- oh my!
Plus you’ll be able to enjoy flatbreads from all over India for lunch or poppadoms and chutneys before dinner.

Several Choices for Everyone

Manju’s is the best place if you want some delicious food. They have a menu that has something for everyone, including vegan and gluten-free dishes!
The prices are reasonable too so it’s perfect to take your whole family with no one feeling left out or hungry. With the children’s menu too, you won’t be disappointed when visiting Manju’s.
